With a PADI Dive Master certificate, you can work at any SSI diving center worldwide and become eligible for the IDC instructors' course.

In the SSI instruction configuration, the Dive Master holds a Leadership level position. As a registered member of the organization, a Dive Master is authorized to guide divers on guided dives, conduct refresher courses, and assist an authorized SSI Instructor during courses.

We are dedicated to providing you with professional and relevant knowledge and experience throughout the course. For divers at the Advanced Open Water level, the course can be completed in 10 days, including a rescue and Emergency First Respond course.

The course focuses on acquiring and developing theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to lead a group of divers. This qualification opens up new opportunities and responsibilities as you progress in your diving journey.

Dive Master Course

The SSI Dive Master course involves expanding and developing theoretical knowledge to an instructor level, covering topics such as physics and psychology of diving, dive tables, decompression theory, diving equipment, and the diving environment.

Participants gain deeper knowledge of problem-solving related to diving equipment, understanding the action principles, and maintenance of the compressor and air bank.

Using the SSI Instructor Manual and authorized instruction programs, the course emphasizes understanding regulations and standards set by the organization.

The curriculum includes 12 water-based lessons and 12 academic subjects. In-water activities focus on working with real divers, including leading guided dives or SSI courses, conducting refresher dives, and practicing various SSI diving skills based on different courses and programs.

Participants get hands-on experience by leading their first lesson in front of students during an open water course and guiding a group during a real-time refresher at the club counter. This practical experience is a fundamental element for developing top-tier divers, instilling self-confidence, and providing specific training without additional expenses. It creates an authentic and valuable learning environment for aspiring Dive Masters.
